Requesting a copy of your birth certificate via NSO’s online portal

You need a copy of your birth certificate but you don't have the time to spend hours just waiting in line for your turn to get it. The National Statistics Office (NSO) has good news for you. It is now offering a new service called the e-Census.

Through their e-Census portal, you can now request for official documents like your birth certificate online. For only about 5 minutes, you will be asked to fill-out their online request form. After receiving their confirmation email, you can now pay for the document you requested.

You can pay for this service via bank deposit at Unionbank or EquitablePCIBank. This will cost you P315. Other payment options are available. Check them out at this link.

Expect to receive your document within three (3) days if you are from Metro Manila.
