The POEA recently came out with reminders for those who will be working in the GCC states (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates). Present hiring policies of the GCC states indicate that GAMCA (GCC Accredited Medical Association) medical clinics are still the only ones authorized to give Medical Fitness Tests for Gulf states bound OFWs.
